evoLeadGate: settings
The component settings are in Components → evoLeadGate → Options (the screen title is "evoLeadGate: Options"). The settings of each form are not here: they live in the builder element and are described in the Reference.
General

Anti-spam

On top of these three settings, the form carries a hidden honeypot field that is not configurable: if it arrives filled in, the submission is rejected.
A submission rejected by the anti-spam gets a generic response that does not say which check tripped. The visitor sees a message asking them to wait and try again.

Both retention periods only apply if the scheduled task "evoLeadGate: data retention" has been created and is enabled. How the IP is anonymised and what each table stores is in Data it handles.
License
Shows the licence status of the extension (active, expired, domain not assigned, and so on) with the matching notice. The Download ID is not entered here: you paste it in System → Update Sites, on the evoLeadGate row. With or without a licence, the extension works.
Emails
Two emails: the notice to your team and the delivery email to the visitor. If you leave a field empty, the default text for the site language is used.

Placeholders accepted in subjects and bodies: {email}, {form_id}, {fields}, {download_url} and {lead_url}. {fields} is replaced by one "label: value" line per extra field; {lead_url} is the link to the lead in the panel. The delivery email is always sent to the address the visitor typed in that same form.
The sender and the mail server are those of Joomla's global configuration.

Scheduled retention task
In System → Scheduled Tasks → New, choose "evoLeadGate: data retention". Each time it runs it:
- Clears the IP of leads created before the IP retention period (if it is not 0).
- Clears the IP of downloads older than that same period.
- Deletes leads older than the lead retention period, with their downloads (if it is not 0).
- Deletes anti-spam attempts older than one day (the component also purges them on every new submission).
Run it daily. The package does not create the task.
