evoLeadGate: changelog

Dates are those of the changes in the development repository. [PENDIENTE: release dates of each version on the update server].

0.2.5 (10 October 2026)

  • The package is built for the evoaddons.com licence and update server.
  • On updating, Joomla switches the extension's update site to evoaddons.com.

0.2.4 (10 October 2026)

  • The update XML is open, like that of other Joomla extensions: Joomla can see that a new version exists without a Download ID.
  • The Download ID is required when downloading the update ZIP, through Joomla's "Download Key" field.
  • The update XML URL no longer carries the key.

0.2.3 (10 October 2026)

  • The Download ID is pasted only on Joomla's update site (System → Update Sites). The extension picks it up, validates the key, activates the domain and copies it into the update URL.
  • The License tab of the options becomes a status tab: it shows the state of the licence and is no longer where you type the key.

0.2.2 (9 October 2026)

  • New tool for evoMCP: evoleadgate_delete_leads, which deletes leads (up to 50) with their downloads. It always needs human approval and supports dry_run.

0.2.1 (7 October 2026)

  • Fixed: the licence client located the update site by its name, which changed with the "evoLeadGate" branding. It now locates it by the product in its URL.

0.2.0 (3 October 2026)

First version of the package.

  • "Lead magnet" element for the YOOtheme Pro builder, with extra fields of type text, phone, dropdown and checkbox.
  • Instant delivery with an email, or email only with double opt-in.
  • Private folder with downloads through an expiring link.
  • Anti-spam: honeypot field, minimum fill time and a per-IP submission limit.
  • Mandatory privacy checkbox and optional marketing checkbox, with the accepted text stored on the lead.
  • Attribution: UTM, gclid, fbclid, _fbp and _fbc.
  • dataLayer, gtag and fbq events with an event_id per submission.
  • Lead panel with filters, detail view and deletion, and CSV export with its own permission.
  • "Check protection" button for the private folder.
  • Scheduled data retention task.
  • Spanish and English texts (es-ES and en-GB).

Between 4 and 7 October the following were added to the package under the same version number:

  • The licence client, with the License tab and updates from Joomla.
  • The read-only REST API for leads.
  • Joomla's privacy plugin (export and delete one person's data).
  • The read tools for evoMCP.
