A node that fails its conditions is removed before rendering. It is not hidden with CSS, and its dynamic content is not even resolved.
On every node
The Access tab appears on elements, items, sections, rows and columns, right before Advanced. Rows and columns left empty collapse just as they do with “Disable element”.
Six rules you can combine
User, language, date and time, device, category and menu. Combine them with AND or OR, and choose to show or hide the node when they match.
No tables of its own
Conditions are stored in the layout node itself. The plugin creates no tables or logs and keeps no data about your visitors.

Who it is for
For people building sites with YOOtheme Pro who need a block to change by visitor, date or page without duplicating layouts. It does not protect confidential content; that needs access control on the content itself.
Limits
It does not protect confidential content. YOOtheme stores a plain-text copy of the layout in the article, used by search, RSS, the API and sites without YOOtheme, and that copy includes every node.
With Joomla page cache on, the date, time, device, menu and category rules are cached for guests. User rules are not, because Joomla does not cache pages for logged-in users.
The device is detected from the user agent (recent iPads count as desktop), and the category rule looks at the page, not at each item in a listing.

What happens when the licence expires?
The extension keeps working. You stop receiving updates until you renew.
Are the tab labels in my language?
They are in Spanish whatever the admin language. YOOtheme does not use Joomla language files inside the Builder, so the labels are written by hand. This is a real limitation; the settings screen in Joomla is translated.
Will I see everything while editing in the Builder?
Yes, by default. “Evaluate in Builder preview” is off so you can edit conditional nodes. On the live site conditions always apply.
Do I need DJ-Catalog2?
No. The DJ-Catalog2 category field only appears when the component is installed.
Can I manage it from evoMCP?
If evoMCP is installed, evoYTAccess adds two tools to read and change the two plugin settings. Changing them requires approval.
