What changes on the site
Without the plugin, nothing evaluates the conditions. Nodes that evoYTAccess was hiding are shown again to every visitor, including those set to “show only if met”. This happens whether you disable the plugin or uninstall it. The Acceso (Access) tab also disappears from the Builder.
Before removing it, review which nodes use conditions: if any of them was hiding content that must not be seen, take that content out first or make sure it is protected another way.
Disable without uninstalling
- Go to System → Plugins and disable “System - evoYTAccess”.
- Clear Joomla’s cache, and page cache if you use it.
It is reversible: when you enable it again, the saved conditions apply again.
Uninstall
- Go to System → Manage → Extensions.
- Find “evoYTAccess”, select it and click Uninstall.
- Clear Joomla’s cache and page cache.
The uninstall script does nothing else: evoYTAccess creates no tables and no files outside its own folder. Joomla removes the plugin and its extensions row, and with it the settings and the licence state the plugin kept.
What stays behind
- The
ytaccess_* properties in your layouts. The plugin does not delete them. They stay on the nodes with no effect, and would work again if you reinstall the plugin.
- The old
ytaccess plugin, if you had it. Installing evoYTAccess left it disabled and not deleted. Uninstall it yourself from the same extensions list.
- Your licence. The Download ID and the assigned domain stay in your customer area. You can change the assigned domain to use it on another site.
If you are uninstalling because you no longer need conditions, first remove them from the nodes (untick “Activar condiciones de acceso”) to leave the layouts clean.
