# Terms and licence

## How the code is licensed

The extension code is distributed under the GPL. You have the freedoms that licence grants over the code: to use, study, modify and redistribute it under its terms. \[PENDIENTE: exact GPL version (2 or later, 3) and copyright notice, to be confirmed with the adviser\]

These terms cover what we sell, which is not the code but access to downloads and updates.

## What you are buying

Each purchase gives a subscription to one extension (or to the bundle) in one of three tiers: 1 site, 5 sites or unlimited. It includes:

- downloads of the published versions;
- updates, through the Joomla updater with your Download ID;
- 12 months of access from the purchase date.

## On expiry

After the 12 months, the installed extension keeps working. You can no longer download or receive updates, including versions released before the expiry, until you renew. If you need to reinstall with an expired subscription, you will have to renew first.

## Renewal

A renewal is a new purchase on the same subscription. The renewal price is offered from 60 days before expiry until 12 months after. It adds 12 months to the current expiry date, or to today's date if the subscription has already expired. There is no automatic renewal: you are not charged anything unless you ask for it.

## Upgrading the tier

You can move up a tier while the subscription is active by paying the difference, prorated to the expiry date. The date does not change. Moving down a tier is only possible at renewal.

## Refunds

What the system does today when a refund or dispute affects an order: for a renewal, its 12 months are subtracted; for the original purchase, the subscription is revoked; for an upgrade, it goes back to the previous tier. A partial refund does not change the subscription.

## Acceptable use of evoMCP

evoMCP lets AI agents manage a Joomla site. These are the conditions of use for the product.

1. **Permitted use:** management of Joomla sites by authorised people, with AI agents under their supervision.
2. **Uses excluded without our express agreement:** integrating evoMCP as a component of a high-risk AI system under Annex III of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, or for the practices prohibited by its Article 5; assessing or profiling people; mass surveillance.
3. **Your responsibilities:** set minimum permissions, keep human approval for writes, review AI-generated content before publishing it, sign the processing agreement with your AI provider and meet your obligations as controller and deployer.
