# evoYTAccess: plugin settings

## Where they are

*System → Plugins → System - evoYTAccess (YOOtheme Pro access conditions)*. The plugin has two tabs: the basic settings and **License**.

These settings apply to the whole site. The conditions on each node are set in the Builder’s **Acceso** tab and are described in the [reference](https://evoaddons.com/en/documentation/evoytaccess-reference).

## Settings

| Setting | What it does | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Evaluate in Builder preview | When off, every node is shown while you edit in the Builder so you can edit it. When on, conditions also apply in the preview. On the live site they always apply. | No |
| User group matching | How the groups in the User rule are compared with the visitor’s groups. | Inherited groups |

### User group matching

- **Inherited groups.** Selecting a group also matches its child groups. For example, Registered matches Author. It uses the user’s authorised groups.
- **Directly assigned groups only.** Only groups explicitly assigned to the user count.

The setting only changes how the “Grupos de usuario” (User groups) list in the User rule is evaluated.

## License tab

It shows the licence status (active, expired, revoked, domain not assigned and so on), the type, the date until which updates are available, the last four characters of the Download ID and a link to manage the subscription. You do not enter the key here: it is pasted in *System → Update Sites* (see [installation](https://evoaddons.com/en/documentation/evoytaccess-install)).

- “Check now” queries the licence server.
- “Remove” deletes the stored key.
- “Open update sites” opens the Joomla screen where you paste the key.

An expired or unchecked licence does not change how the plugin behaves: conditions keep applying. It only affects updates. More in [licences and updates](https://evoaddons.com/en/documentation/licences-and-updates).

## Changing the settings with evoMCP

If evoMCP is installed, both settings can be read and changed with the tools `evoytaccess_get_settings` and `evoytaccess_set_settings`. Changing them requires approval and supports `dry_run`. Details in the [reference](https://evoaddons.com/en/documentation/evoytaccess-reference).
