# evoYTAccess: changelog

Dates are those of the matching entry in the product repository, not necessarily the publication date of the ZIP.

## 1.2.5 (2026-10-10)

- Updates are served from evoaddons.com. On update, Joomla repoints the plugin’s update site to that server.

## 1.2.4 (2026-10-10)

- The update XML is open, like that of any other extension, and the Download ID is required when downloading the ZIP: Joomla sends it from the update site’s “Download Key” field. The XML URL no longer carries the key.

## 1.2.3 (2026-10-10)

- The Download ID is pasted only in Joomla’s update site (*System → Update Sites*). The plugin picks it up, validates it and activates the domain, and puts it back in Joomla if Joomla loses it when it rebuilds the site.
- The plugin’s **License** tab becomes a status tab: it shows the licence status and the “Check now” and “Remove” buttons, with no field to type the key.

## 1.2.2 (2026-10-09)

- evoMCP tools: `evoytaccess_get_settings` and `evoytaccess_set_settings` to read and change the plugin’s two settings. They only come into play if evoMCP is installed; changing settings requires approval.

## 1.2.1 (2026-10-07)

- Fix: the licence client finds the plugin’s update site again after the rename, using the product in its URL rather than its name.

## 1.2.0 (2026-10-04)

First version recorded in the repository, with the **Acceso** (Access) tab on Builder elements, items, sections, rows and columns.

- Rules for user (state, groups, access levels and specific users), language, date and time, device, category (Joomla and DJ-Catalog2) and menu, combinable with AND or OR, with a show or hide action.
- Two settings: evaluate in Builder preview, and group matching.
- **License** tab and update server.
- Rename (2026-10-05): the plugin went from `ytaccess` to `evoytaccess`. When installed over the old one, the installer copies the settings and licence, leaves the previous plugin disabled and deletes nothing. The `ytaccess_*` layout properties do not change, so saved conditions keep working.
